North And South Koreans Stand Together At The Olympics For A Historic Selfie

For many years, there has been a division between North Korea and South Korea. That division is more than a physical barrier, it also keeps the people from interacting with each other as well.

When the two nations went to the Olympics, however, they were able to share some interesting moments together. At the Olympics, the nations come together from around the world and compete against each other but they also work together in some ways.

As far as these two countries are concerned, they are officially at war. That didn’t stop the athletes from both of those warring nations from stopping for a moment and taking a selfie.

The group got together on the stage and you couldn’t believe the smiles that were passing back and forth between them. They paused for the picture and the world was applauding the fact that they were able to have that epic moment.

The gold-medal was taken away by China and North Korea came in second with silver. South Korea won the bronze medal.

You can see North Korea’s Ri Jong Sik and Kim Kum Yong, South’s Shin Yu-bin along with the Chinese team, Wang Chuqin and Sun Yingsha as they smiled together.

Considering the fact that earlier this year the leader of North Korea declared war on South Korea and was not going to try to reunify peacefully.

People couldn’t believe how beautiful of a moment this was and they shared it online for all to see.
