We live in a world where protests occur on a regular basis. People will protest almost about anything, but sometimes they take things to the extreme.

When Jennifer Aniston was getting ready for the Morning Show, she experienced something that many people weren’t expecting. In fact, many people were outraged after the event was posted online, although there is a story behind the story.

Morning TV is not for the faint of heart. Many of the networks are vying for the same eyeballs, so getting someone to watch your show means that you have to take things to the next level.

In this clip from the fourth season, Jennifer Aniston is standing there when protesters throw oil all over her. It is actually fake oil, but it still has people outraged.

Aniston even shared a picture after it occurred, and that picture, along with some of the footage has been shared online, perhaps prematurely.

After it circulated on TikTok and Twitter, you can see Aniston standing on set with protesters standing by. They are climate activists, holding signs that read Truth Warrior. Suddenly, the fake oil is thrown directly toward Aniston.

People were confused after watching the footage, and they were surprised that Jennifer seemed confused as well. They were also wondering why she was targeted.

Others, however, pointed out that if you listen until the clip is over, you can hear the director yelling ‘CUT.’ Obviously, it was not an actual event but it was one that was being filmed for later use.

At least it made for some good press!
