She Got Sweet Revenge After Her Childhood Bully Wanted Her To Play Violin At Her Wedding

When you have a special skill, it’s something that will benefit you throughout your entire life. Unfortunately, there are also times when that skill may cause you to be bullied as a child.

One person who knows this very well is Tiffany Mulder. She is an acclaimed violinist who was very good at playing violin, even when she was in middle school.

It was during her years in middle school that one particular person picked on her relentlessly. It was her bully, but that bully came back to learn a lesson after asking Tiffany to plan her wedding for free.

“Hey girl!!! It’s been forever,” the former bully began. “I’m getting married, and I totally want you to play violin for my ceremony in October. It would be the perfect gift, PLUS you could use the photos and videos to build your performance portfolio! Win-win!”

The girl thought that Tiffany would want to build her portfolio but Tiffany didn’t need help. She has been doing quite well and has been recognized by many online Resources, including The Knot.

Tiffany replied: “Hello. It’s 1. Rather bold of you to assume that I’d gift you a $2,500 service. 2. You bullied me relentlessly in middle school for being in [the] orchestra. 3. Build my portfolio? You may not realize I’ve been recognized by The Knot and Wedding Wire 6 years in a row,” the Chicago-based violinist responded.

“My ‘portfolio’ dates back to age 12. I’ve been in the wedding industry for 19 years.”

The bride-to-be was not very happy with Tiffany’s response and ended up calling her services overpriced. She still continued to ask for her to play at a discount, and even said that she wanted them to be friends.

Tiffany was not very convinced about the sincerity of her former bully. She let her know that she already had friends and didn’t have time to entertain her ignorance.

The bride continued to insist on having Tiffany play the violin while she slow danced with her partner at the wedding. She offered her $1000.

Tiffany couldn’t help but point out the fact that her former bully was getting married on Mean Girls Day. She declined the 1000 offer and refused to work for exposure.

She also suggested, in a tongue-in-cheek fashion that her guests should each pay five dollars for an entertainment fee so she could cover her costs.

That is when she got her revenge.

I’d have to say she had that one coming.
