Both Joshua and Emily serve in the US military and as they were exchanging vows, something happened that touched the heart of everyone at the event.

Gauge was watching when suddenly, he started shedding tears and ran over to give his new stepmother a hug. There was so much emotion and you can tell that it really meant something to him.

Emily had expressed herself in these words: “I want you to be safe and try your hardest to be a good person I hope you know you’re a very special boy. You’ve helped me become the woman I am today, and even though I didn’t give you the gift of life, you are a gift to me.”
