Fake Doctor Behind Bars After Injecting Patients With Cement And Killing One Person

There may be times when we need to see a doctor and at times, we may make the decision to visit a doctor for personal reasons as well. In either case, we trust that they are going to have our best interest in mind.

That was the case for one woman who faked being a doctor and is now going to spend 10 years in prison. Not only was she guilty of injecting patients with tire sealant, someone died as a result.

36-year-old Oneal Ron Morris, also known as the ‘Toxic Tush Doctor’ was guilty of giving cosmetic butt injections to people without having the medical license to do so. He was caught after one turn fatal.

A Broward County judge delivered the sentence after he made a guilty plea for manslaughter according to court records. At the time, he had already spent a year in prison for practicing healthcare without a license but now he was going to spend additional time behind bars.

Another interesting turn of events is that Morris, who is transgender, will have to serve her sentence in a male facility. Many people who were grieving the loss of one of his patients were in the courtroom for the sentencing.

That 31-year-old patient, Shatarka Nuby died in 2012 after the cosmetic procedure. Family members said that she died a most inhumane death and they were looking for a more harsh sentence from the judge.

The court records show that $2000 was paid for the treatments in the hopes that they would enhance her butt, hips, thighs, and breasts. The treatments took place between 2007 and 2010.

After the injections were given, she began to notice some discoloration in the area of the injection sites and hardening in the area. Additional details were also shared, including the fact that Morris used materials, such as rubber cement, superglue, and tire sealant.

Morris read from a prepared statement, saying: “I have never ever or would dare ever to inject or have injected any human with any type of unknown substance.” She continued to maintain her innocence throughout the trial.

An attorney argued that her patients did not know that she lacked the medical credentials. The attorney said: “All parties share the responsibilities and the blame for their own actions and the role they played.”

Another victim had to undergo additional surgery from a licensed physician after being treated by Morris. She was called ‘cement face’ and said that she would not go out of the house because she was too embarrassed to do so.
