Exercise Your Brain With These Clever Riddles

From the time we are young children, we are told to exercise our bodies on a regular basis. Keeping our muscles strong and active is a good way to stay healthy throughout our lifetime.

Most people don’t realize that it is just important to exercise the brain because it is in need of regular exercise to stay sharp. If we don’t exercise our brains, we may just lose some of our brain power.

One way that we can do this is by solving riddles. Not only can riddles be fun, they can also be shared, so many more people can have the fun as well.

1. I speak without a mouth and hear without ears. I have no body, but I come alive with the wind. What am I?

Before we give you the answers, it’s important to understand the benefits that riddles provide. Perhaps the top benefit is the boost to your memory. Just as you build muscle by exercising it, you build your brain capacity by exercising it.

Do you have any stress in your life? I think most of us could confidently say that we are stressed on a regular basis. When you solve a riddle, however, you get a little boost of dopamine and that helps to make you feel better. You might just find that you are a lot happier.

There are certain brain workouts you can find online that are boring and mundane. Riddles accomplish the same purpose but they do so while still being fun.
