Ask anyone who has a sister and they will tell you, it can sometimes be difficult to live with that family relationship. It is true of all sisters, but for Brittany and Abby, life is even more difficult.

Abby Hensel, one of the sisters who shares an interesting life with her twin because they are co-joined is now married. Those co-joined twins appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show in 1996, leading to international fame.

Brittany and Abby are now 34 years old and they continue to be twins that are fused at the torso. They have one bloodstream and they share the organs below the waist. Britney has control of the left leg and arm and Abby is in control of the right.

Many more people became familiar with these co-joined sisters after their TLC reality series that showed them as they graduated college and traveled to Europe.

A look at public records showed that Abby got married to a male nurse in 2021. You can even see the wedding picture on the Facebook profile, with both of the sisters wearing a wedding dress and their husband to be, standing before them while holding their hands.

It may have been possible for them to be separated when they were young, but the parents decided against it. They were told by physicians that there was very little chance that both of the girls would survive the procedure.

The father also talked about the possibility that his daughters would get married someday. He acknowledged that other cojoined twins have married and said that they were good looking girls and have a lot going for them.

The twins have talked a lot about themselves over the years but they keep their love life private. They said that the whole world does not need to know that they are dating or what they’re going to do about it.
