A 44-year-old previous Cleveland Browns NFL star kicked the bucket in a horrible fender bender.
Today is the memorial service for Benjamin Gay, who played running back for Ohio for one season in 2001.
A nearby news source, the Akron Guide Diary, says Gay was a fan number one while he played for the Cleveland Earthy colors.
Prior to instructional course, he was marked only three days prior. Afterward, he assisted the Browns with beating the Super Bowl-winning Baltimore Ravens 27-17.
Gay scored a score right off the bat in the second quarter that put the Cleveland Browns ahead.
From that point onward, Gay scored just a single additional score in the NFL.
An eulogy says that Gay filled in as a welder in the wake of leaving the NFL and until he kicked the bucket.
The football star of the past wedded Margarita in February 2012, and they had three kids together: a child, two little girls, and a granddaughter.
Gay was a “sturdy Christian” who went to Post Morgan, Colorado’s Platte Valley Baptist Church.
“He wanted to invest energy with his family, work on vehicles, and guaranteed that the yards of his relatives were very actually enjoyed,” it says.
“Benjamin appreciated remaining occupied, and was generally cheerful when he had something to do.”
In Houston, Texas, Gay was conceived Benjamin Stevenson Gay Jr.
He was named a USA Today first-group All-American in the wake of moving on from Spring Secondary School. From that point forward, he went to Baylor College and Nursery City Junior college.
He at last earned his college education and got an Expert’s in Science.
Before joining the NFL, Gay played for the Edmonton Eskimos in Canada.
Various accolades for the previous football star have been posted via online entertainment soon after his demise.
“Exceptionally miserable news: Previous #Browns champion running back Ben Gay was killed in an auto collision,” a client said.
“Find happiness in the hereafter, superb individual and partner. Feeling thankful for the opportunity to be your Fullback during our Semi-Star Days. “Unwind, brother!” said another person.
“I just figured out that Benjamin Gay kicked the bucket. We all who realized him are miserable about his passing. A third individual added, “May he find happiness in the hereafter.”
“In the event that you knew secondary school football back in the late 90’s in Texas, then you knew about Benjamin Gay,” an individual composed.
“My mate from school, old buddy. Brilliant running back, the best in the state’s set of experiences. Best of luck, enormous canine!”
The Related Press affirmed the fender bender that killed the individual.
