We live in a world that is constantly changing. Most of the changes are associated with technology, such as computers, but other changes take place constantly.

Perhaps that is why this unusual item is confusing many younger people on the Internet. When somebody found it in their garage, they posted a picture online and it had many people wondering.

You can’t imagine the number of different suggestions as to what this item was. Of course, anybody who was 30 years old or older would identify it, at least if they were able to remember the ‘good old days.’

This item was introduced to me by my father when I was learning how to drive a car. In case I got a flat tire, I would have to change it and this vintage bumper Jack would lift the car so the tire could be changed.

Back in the day, everybody had one in their automobile. Today, we still have jacks in the car, but they look different and, quite honestly, are more user-friendly than these.

This is just a reminder out of history that things change but the need to have something in place remains the same.
